Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) is one of the regions in China with the highest per capita GDP, the highest degree of openness and the most vibrant economy. As an important decision of China to actively promote regional cooperation, the GBA is of great significance in supporting the development of the "The Belt and Road", promoting Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR to participate in the national development strategies,and maintaining long-term prosperity and stability of our country.
The development of GBA cannot be separated from the innovation of science and technology. Talents and education are important driving forces for science, technology, engineering, and innovation. In the context of the deepening exchanges among the three regions, accelerated circulation of resources, and increasing economic, educational, and innovative strength of the Greater Bay Area, the demand for talents is also increasing continuously.
Internationalised talents with leadership and innovation ability in the future are the key to promote social development and technological change.
It is particularly important for the sustainable development of the economy and society of the Greater Bay Area to build an innovative talents community with international competitiveness and leadership skills.
Based on the "International Innovative Talent Training Mechanism and International Comparative Research" project jointly initiated by KingLead and experts from Ivy League and Oxbridge, the forum has been successfully held for eleven sessions at Stanford Centre (Peking University), the High School Affiliated to the Renmin University of China etc. The results have been published on China Education Daily, China Scholars Abroad, Guangming Daily, and so on. The forum has gained extensive industrial and social influence and has become a high-level forum with high-end positioning and academic leadership in the field of internationalised schools.
Under the theme of "Leadership of the Internationalised Schools in the Greater Bay Area", AISL Harrow Schools share their experience in cultivating students with innovation and leadership characteristics, and demonstrate the school's commitments to the society and the industry.
iHigh-flying speakers from leading industries will share their strategies of talent development and the skills needed to excel professionally in GBA. Education experts from Cambridge University and our family of AISL Harrow Schools will showcase how educational institutions develop future leaders and the exceptional leadership programmes and practice on offer. The conference will also see the official launch of the research report on "Leadership characteristics of the Internationalised Schools in Greater Bay Area" with Kinglead.
